Pastor Ronald Bang and Jae Bang

Pastor Ronald is local to the Greater Seattle Area and knows that the west coast is indeed the best coast.  Growing up in the church, Ronald stepped into his calling as a pastor in 2008 when God brought him to serve the youth at a small church in Mountlake Terrace.  Since then, he's leaned on the Word to guide his ever step and in 2018, his family joined the awesome folks at New Song Church as an English Ministry Pastor.

He is joined by his lovely wife Jae and amazing son Mayson.  Jae works at regional credit union and is very passionate for all to find their true identities and worth in Christ alone. Mayson on the other hand, has only been passionate about his milk consumption and daily naps; however, Ronald and Jae have been praying he grows to be a God-fearing man, with more faith, love and wisdom than his parents!​

Esther Park

Esther was born in Busan, Korea, but came to the states having grown up in both LA and Seattle. She also goes by Hadassah (Esther in Hebrew). Esther likes to stay active by golf, OrangeTheory, and recently joined New Song Run Club. Currently, she is serving as the New Song Administrator, handling everything logistics from finances to organizing church events. Her passion is to live out 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. 

Tim Kim
Praise Team

Tim joined New Song immediately after spending his college years on the East Coast, and moving back home to the PNW to work as a software engineer! He is particularly passionate about mobilizing God’s people out of lukewarmness, and into bold lifestyles of faith and obedience in their churches, social circles, schools, and workplaces! By way of his own faith having grown the most during time spent in a variety of multiethnic communities, he desires to see New Song soon grow into a church embodying the picture of Revelations 7:9!

Phil Song
Inter-Ministry Coordinator

Born and raised in Lynnwood Washington, he is currently a full-time student at the University of Washington where he is studying education and psychology. In addition to being a student, Philip is also a preschool teacher at New Song Academy. At New Song Church, he plays the bass on praise team, serves as one of our youth leaders, and is our liaison between the different ministries. Though the church is made up of many different ministries, Phil is passionate about being one body and serving together as a whole church and across all generations. 

Grace Richards
Small Groups

Grace spent her early childhood in Chicago. She moved to Seattle in 2006 and has been here ever since. She graduated from UW in 2020 with a Public Health degree. She is currently working full time at the local health district. Grace is passionate towards building sisterhood and brotherhood within the body. She is currently serving as a small group leader and is also part of the welcoming committee. She envisions fruitful relationships to be made within the body!​

Hyunrae Kim 
AVL

Escaping Iowa from birth, Hyunrae grew up in various states but calls Seattle his hometown. After having finished college in Missouri, he returned to Seattle to work as a Software Engineer, but more importantly, serve on New Song's AVL (Audio Visual Lights) team that is responsible for service tech, live streaming, NS website, and social media. Hyunrae's passionate about getting members plugged in to the church and serve in any capacity.
